Vision of the Nonprofit Leaders Council is
to create a community in which everyone is of service and
practices philanthropy.
The
Mission of the Nonprofit Leaders Council is
to inspire and empower each individual to work proactively
to make a difference in Santa Clarita and the world.
Operating
Principles
· Engage individuals and businesses in service and
philanthropy.
· Educate individuals, businesses and government about
the contributions and value of services provided by nonprofits.
· Collaborate on funding opportunities and work together
to expand the base of local donors.
· Share tools to grow and strengthen each non-profit,
pool experience, talents and passion, and serve as mentors
to emerging leaders.
· Work in partnership with individuals, businesses
and government to strengthen the community.
Membership
Requirements
· Executive Director or senior operating officer of
501c-IRS approved organizations.
· Board members responsible for Executive Director
functions.
· Nonprofit field specialists approved by NLC Executive
Committee.
